Haix Protector Ultra 2.0 GTX Lime Chainsaw Boots Description
The PROTECTOR Ultra 2.0 GTX is the 2nd generation of the HAIX Protector Ultra series. It is an elite level chainsaw boot, designed for all day-everyday wear in hall tree work environments, supporting your foot and ensuring you can work in comfort all day, no matter whether you work up high, or on the forest floor.
The PROTECTOR Ultra 2.0 GTX in Lime combines safety and comfort during tree work, with added abrasion resistance around the ankle for comfort while wearing climbing spikes. It enhances on the stellar reuptation of the generation 1 Ultra boot. The boot has a class 2 cut protection and prevents chainsaw cuts up to a chain speed of 24 m/s from injuring the foot. The Lime colourway is also a popular design in chainsaw PPE.
Upper material
suede, hydrophobic and breathable, 2.8 - 3.0 mm thick
Cut protection
Cut protection level 2 (24 m / sec.). According to EN ISO 17249: 2013.
Inner lining
GORE-TEX® Performance; waterproof and breathable. Highly abrasion-resistant lining with a fleece intermediate layer. Optimal climate comfort for all seasons with the highest demands.
Synthetic / fleece insole
Moisture- absorbing , dimensionally stable, torsion-resistant, reduces punctual pressure (e.g. from stones).
Inlay
Comfortable, cushioning, moisture-wicking. Separate heel cup ensures good cushioning and foot guidance.
Sole
Stable and abrasion-resistant VIBRAM rubber / PU sole with robust terrain profile. The PU damping wedge with its low weight ensures shock absorption and good rolling comfort. The outsole is heat-, fuel-resistant and non-chalking. According to EN ISO 20345: 2011.
