Teufelberger TreeMotion ESSENTIAL Climbing Harness

Since 2007, Teufelberger has continuously enhanced its treeMOTION harnesses. With the sole purpose of developing the ideal harness that is compatible with all climbing techniques and climber anatomy, the company has listened to tree climbers, partners, and ambassadors throughout the years. We are happy to develop the fourth generation of the first treeMOTIONs in Europe as a result. The thinner material and lighter adjustable buckles make this harness exceptionally light.

As a result of more than two years of work, the treeMOTION Essential is now equipped with these significant new features:

• the age of 10 (since the date of manufacture)
• 3 sizes (Small, Medium, Large)
• Two-way buckle for waist adjustment
• better suited to each shape
• Twin bridges are one option.
• A side ring that can be opened makes it simple to replace hip/leg connections.
• There are four attachment places on the suspender/chest.
• increased comfort thanks to redesigned leg and back padding, and maximum personalization

Key changes between treeMOTION Essential and Pro include the following:

• Buckles
• While more seasoned climbers should use the treeMOTION Pro, which includes Cobra rapid release buckles, beginners should utilise the treeMOTION Essential, which has sliding adjustable buckles.
• Back and leg support
• The treeMOTION Essential has standard padding, and the treeMOTION Pro has comfort padding. The two paddings are interchangeable.
• Gear assistance
• Whereas the treeMOTION Essential only has 2x2 gear brackets, the treeMOTION Pro has 2x3 gear brackets below the harness in addition to 2x1 gear brackets.
• A red elastic band to keep gear together
• While the treeMOTION Essential is provided without red elastic on the waist and leg loops, the treeMOTION Pro comes with it.
• The treeMOTION series has been a hit since since it debuted. However, climbers did occasionally voice the view that it could be improved. In order to make the treeMOTION even more user-friendly, we at Teufelberger set out to enhance it.

One aspect in particular received a lot of attention from us: Because each individual is different, the harness must also be individually configurable.

As a result, we now provide our harness in three sizes:

• Small
• Medium
• Large

With a 10-year lifespan and the ability to swap out up to 10 components of your harness, the treeMOTION Essential offers the lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in the treecare sector.

Safety comes priority at TEUFELBERGER, so the required treeMOTION has been approved in accordance with the following standards:

• Arboricultural operations are covered by ANSI Z133-2017,
• EN813:2008, EN358:2018,
• ASTM F887-20, CSA Z259.1-05, and AS/NZS 1891.1:2020.

With a 10-year lifespan following manufacture, the treeMOTION has proven to be a reliable and long-lasting partner. The treeMOTION Essential was designed so that up to 10 elements can be changed, increasing the belt's durability:
